Dover Speedway adds The Hangout, an all-new hospitality attraction

New spot to relax, dine and socialize
February 27, 2016

The Hangout, an all-new hospitality attraction giving fans a spot to relax, dine and socialize before and during NASCAR events at Dover International Speedway, will be opening for the 2016 racing season, track officials have announced.

In the spring, The Hangout will be open at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 14, prior to the NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash race and at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 15, before the AAA 400 Drive for Autism NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.  Food and beverage service will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 14 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 15.

Featuring a fresh look, outdoor and shaded seating areas with lounge furniture, and a stage for live music performances and driver appearances, The Hangout is the must-visit spot for fans as an add-on package to their race ticket.

Tickets are $109 for Saturdays and $139 on Sunday, and include all food and drink offerings, a $25 FanVision coupon, a race program, outdoor tailgate-style games, Wi-Fi and charging stations, and, on Sundays, a Trackside Access pass.

In addition to a menu filled with American-grill food options and Anheuser-Busch and Pepsi products, Wi-Fi access will also be available. “We’re very excited about this new option for our fans to enjoy,” said Dover International Speedway President and CEO Mike Tatoian. “The Hangout’s location near the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza puts visitors in the middle of all of the excitement and events outside the track and gives fans a new way to further improve their race-day experience.”

Food options will include barbecue rib tips, buffalo chicken wings, grilled hot links and several vegetable and dessert choices. Drink selections will include draft and seasonal craft beer options, as well as nonalcoholic beverages.
