Cancer Support Community Delware held a 10th Anniversary Celebration at the home of Doris and Alan Lehman, Sept. 24. Dr. Srihari Peri was presented with the 2016 Humanitarian Award. Held at the home of honorary chairs Doris and Alan Lehman, the celebration featured light fare and entertainment provided by The Problematics.

Volunteers, doctors and supporters gathered to recognize CSCDE's decade of providing vital cancer support services in Sussex County, and honored Dr. Srihari Peri, medical director for medical oncology, Tunnell Cancer Center. In recognition for his humanitarian works and deeds that have served to dramatically improve the quality of life for so many in the local community, CSCDE honored Peri with the 2016 Cancer Support Community Humanitarian Award.
