The Eagles got their victory against Green Bay

October 4, 2019

Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles won a very close game over the Green Bay Packers by a score of 34 to 27.

Much to my relief, the offense played a very good game for the first time this season, and the running game was quite consistent. Running back Jordan Howard almost had 100 yards by himself. It was good to have Alshon Jeffery back from injury as well. He has great hands and is capable of being one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.

The defense did just enough to contain Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense.

This week, the Eagles will play the struggling New York Jets. Let’s hope they can take advantage of this and get another victory in order to maintain the momentum.

For now, it appears that the Philadelphia Phillies are going to keep Gabe Kapler as manager. If the Phillies want to continue to make progress toward getting to the post season again, one player who has to step up next year is first baseman Rhys Hoskins. They need him to support Bryce Harper in the middle of the lineup. I think Reese is capable of being an all-star player in his career, but he needs to show that by being consistent all through this coming season.

See you on the sidelines!
