Edna Marie Wyatt, retired waitress

Edna Marie Wyatt, 88, of Millsboro passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2019..

Mrs. Wyatt was born in Dagsboro to the late Everett and Lettie Timmons Gray.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband George Challman in 1972, her second husband Charles Wyatt in 1966; a sister, Phyllis Donaway;  a brother Everett Lewis Gray; and a nephew Tommy Gray. 

Edna retired after working many years as a waitress for Sam’s Restaurant in Millsboro.  She was a member of the VFW.  Edna and her first husband Charles loved to decorate doll houses.  She was a very sweet, quiet, and easy going person.  She loved to do crafts and loved her French bulldogs.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Grace Wyatt, and a stepson Jimmy Wyatt and his wife Kathy; an aunt, Peggy Ducas; and a brother Joseph Gray and his wife Doris.  She also leaves behind two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as two nieces, Robin Gardiner and Dayna Aliberti; four nephews, Mark King, Christopher Gray, Steven Gray and David Gray a great-nephew, Dylan King; and two great-great-nieces, Rylynne Minium and Piper King.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 9, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., for viewing and visitation.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Georgetown,

Flowers accepted or in lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Edna’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY  10016.  .
