As of Feb. 8, due to the resignation of a council member, there is a vacancy on the Ellendale Town Council.

Required qualifications include being resident within town limits, at least 21 years of age, having no misdemeanors or felonies other than traffic offenses, and able to be bonded, with no serious credit issues.
