Enjoying a beautiful sunset, champagne and the Cape Gazette on a perfect fall evening
October 17, 2020
Sassafras “Sassy” Gray is shown here enjoying champagne before sunset, overlooking the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal in North Shores, Rehoboth Beach.
“Sassy” has been part of the Gray family for more than 36 years, and has had a home in Rehoboth Beach since he was a little cub. Fall is his favorite time of year in the Cape Region. He just loves when the crowds thin out and he can enjoy his deck overlooking the canal. Sassy looks forward to seeing all the boaters too; they greet him with big smiles and wave as they pass by.
