Enjoying wildlife, sunshine and the Cape Gazette in Chincoteague

Cape Gazette reader Karen Ferguson of Lewes took a moment out of her day trip to Chincoteague to read her favorite paper. “Short excursions like this are restorative during these difficult and trying times,” said Karen.  

 While in Chincoteague, Karen visited the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, which is on the Atlantic Flyway. She drove the 3.25 mile Wildlife Loop and stopped at overlooks and trails so she could check out the herons, egrets, other waterfowl and ponies.
