Event showcasing local artists, artisans set May 10 in Dewey Beach

April 29, 2025

The Dewey Business Partnership will host its annual Arts and Fun Fest from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at Dickinson Avenue bayside in Dewey Beach. Admission and parking are free. There is no rain date for the event.

This highly anticipated event precedes Mother’s Day, providing a great place to enjoy the beautiful community and shop small while supporting local artists and artisans.

Kelly Ranieri, DBP executive director, said, “This year, we have 48 local artists and vendors for the event, and at this point, we run like such a well-oiled machine. Fourteen years is a long time to be offering this event, and we’re really proud of how the community is coming together.”

Items available this year range from handcrafted jewelry to expressive art to handmade soaps and ceramics, paintings, local photography, Dewey-themed art, pillows, totes, mixed media, wood art and more. Activities for kids include art-making stations that are always a big hit with little ones and a youth art gallery with works by Rehoboth Elementary students.

There will be live music to add a special ambiance to the wonderful beach setting, with Marc Luckenbill playing from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Food vendors, a bar and a garden area where attendees can sit, relax and take in the festival vibe will round out the attractions.
