The Milton Theatre invites fans of classic rock and blues to a time-warped journey back to the psychedelic ‘60s with Experience Janis, the premier tribute to music of the legendary Janis Joplin, at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, at 110 Union St., Milton.
Headled by vocalist CC Coletti, Experience Janis provides a multisensory immersion into the era of peace, love and rock ‘n’ roll. Featuring a backdrop of psychedelic visuals, lava lamps and vintage gear, Coletti and her band of seasoned professionals re-create the authentic sound that defined a generation. From the high-octane grit of "Piece of My Heart" to the soulful vulnerability of "Summertime," Coletti channels the urgent, raw energy that made Joplin a legend.
