Fat Vinny’s serves up breakfast, lunch at Lewes BP

Breakfast and lunch sandwiches from the Fat Vinny’s food truck are now available at Uncle Willie’s BP gas station at Five Points seven days a week.

Owner Vinny Manuele said the truck opens at 7 a.m. for $4.50 breakfast specials, including egg and cheese sandwiches on fresh rolls with a choice of bacon, sausage or scrapple, scrambled eggs and homemade sausage links.

Lunch specials from $10 to $12 begin at 11 a.m., and include ribeye and chicken breast cheesesteaks, Italian sausage with grilled peppers and onions subs, lamb or chicken gyros, smash burgers, fried fish sandwiches, hot dogs and grilled cheese, all served with fries and a soda.

“The king of cheesesteaks, Gene Washington, who used to work at Pizza Villa, is cooking,” Manuele said.

Outdoor picnic table seating is available, he said, and Fat Vinny’s other food truck can be hired for catering and special events.
