Friendship Creek development breaks ground in Frankford

McKee Builders celebrated the groundbreaking for construction on Friendship Creek, its newest Sussex County development.

Located in Frankford, Friendship Creek is a 133-home development that will offer amenities to residents living minutes away from Bethany Beach.

McKee Builders staff and fellow chamber members’ staff came out to support the new community.

Friendship Creek will offer three distinct floor plans along with amenities including a community pool and dog park plus beach proximity. The development is designed to be a close-knit, private neighborhood with easy access to everything people love at the Delaware beaches. Residents will enjoy both the location and lifestyle.

McKee Builders is a family-owned company that has been in business for over 70 years. “If you can dream it, we can build it,” is McKee’s motto. 

Director of Sales Kathy Randall emphasized the creativity that McKee homes offer in terms of customization. “We let you select the home style you like and the homesite that fits your needs, which is unique to townhome building,” said Randall. That flexibility allows clients to build their own personal home.

The first construction phase is projected to begin delivering homes in early 2022.
