The Gazette fulfills lifelong dream while road trippin’ to the northwest

Cape Gazette readers Don and Helen Flood recently went on a 2-week road trip through 9 northwestern states. The states included Oregon, Washington, Idaho, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. “In Idaho, Don got to realize his lifelong dream of seeing a total eclipse in the path of totality,” said Helen. “Other highlights of our trip were visiting Mt. St. Helens, Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore. After this trip, I only have 3 more states to go to complete all 50.”
