Lewes neighbors Mary Ann Gillette, Diane O’Marrah, Peggy Dwyer, Cheryl Soos and Lynn James took the Cape Gazette along on an unforgettable 10-day culinary journey through Italy. The trip began in Pisa, with excursions along the seaside of Cinque Terre, historic Bologna, the foodie capital of Italy, and the rustic charm of Panzano in Chianti. Side trips included Parma for a tour of Parmigiano Reggiano production, Modena for balsamic vinegar tasting, and Chianti for olive oil sampling, along with many vineyard tours and, of course, wine tasting. This amazing adventure ended with a day in Florence, where they experienced the famous “wine windows.” It was truly the trip of a lifetime for these Ciao Bellas!
