Gilligan’s to open in Milton
Gilligan’s, the popular Lewes restaurant, will open a second location on Route 16 in Milton in November.
The new venture comes nearly three years after Gilligan’s almost closed for good in 2015. But after plans for a sale fell through, Gilligan’s re-emerged with a new building last year and is now open year-round.
The same year Gilligan’s in Lewes was planning its rebirth, the Milton Diner was being torn down after the restaurant was destroyed by a fire in August 2016. The building was rebuilt last year. RYAN MAVITY PHOTO
