H. James Kelleher Jr., accomplished Realtor

H. James Kelleher Jr., 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Rehoboth Beach Thursday, May 29, 2025, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Born Dec. 7, 1939, in Wilmington, Jim led a life filled with warmth, compassion and purpose.

He is survived by his loving wife Antoinette; and their sons James, Sean (Laura) and Mark (Becky), as well as his beloved grandchildren Patrick and Erin. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Marjorie Kelleher; and his brother Daniel F. Kelleher.

Jim built a respected career as a Realtor, known for his integrity, dedication, and deep connection to his community. As a Realtor, he held leadership roles and was very actively involved in the Delaware, New Castle County and Sussex County boards of Realtors. He generously shared his knowledge and mentored others throughout his professional life.

Above all, Jim will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor and the genuine way he connected with everyone he met. His legacy of love and generosity lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Family and friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
