Hanging with friends & the Cape Gazette at the Great Lakes in Michigan

October 12, 2019

In late June, Keegan Foley of Lewes and Severna Park, MD headed up to the Great Lakes with his Cape Gazette to spend a week with his friends in Leland, Michigan.

He enjoyed the incredible views of the crystal clear water, much different from home, as well as amazing sand dunes and hunts for Petoskey stones.

Hiking what is known to the locals there as Pyramid Point with sand dunes at sharp angles headed straight to the water was one of the awesome activities pursued during Keegan’s week-long stay.

Leland is an amazing town, with a friendly population much like Lewes. Going back again is definitely on Keegan’s bucket list.
