Harrington Havoc win Delaware High School Hockey League

The Delaware High School Hockey League capped off its 2025-26 season with a thrilling championship matchup March 4, at the Fred Rust Arena. It was a night that showcased not only the talent on the ice, but also the spirit of students representing communities from across the state, especially those from Kent and Sussex counties.
The Harrington Havoc entered the playoffs after a strong 10-4 regular season, and they carried that momentum straight into the postseason. After battling past Delaware Military Academy in the semifinals, the Havoc rose to the occasion once again, defeating the Brandywine/Unionville Nighthawks 6-4 in an electric championship game.
The scoring opened early with an unassisted goal from Malen Winkleblech, setting the tone for Harrington’s determined performance. In the second period, Ryan Soto found the net with help from Kaiden Sylvester, followed by goals from Chase Watkins assisted by Wyatt Bolin. Sylvester added two more in the third, and Dylan Page sealed the night with the final goal, assisted by Winkleblech and Sylvester. The Nighthawks fought hard, but the Havoc’s teamwork, grit and season-long dedication carried them to victory.
