Rosalba Bellen recently returned from a 3-week trip to her native land in the heart of Brenta Dolomites. The Brenta Dolomites are located in the Trentino Region of Northern Italy and are part of the Adamello-Brenta UNESCO Global Geopark.
“I hiked with old friends and dined with many cousins,” said Rosalba. The hikes are high above sea level and offer expansive vistas of peaks and mountain lakes. In addition to hiking, there are mountain roads and ski lifts one can use to reach incredible heights, enjoy the views and partake in the local cuisine in a mountain chalet.”
Rosalba and her only surviving aunt, Ester are shown here outside Rifugio Malga Ritorto. From there you can view the magnificent Brenta Dolomites and the Rendena Valley below.
