Howard ‘Bill’ W. Bowman IV, had passion for cars

Howard "Bill" W. Bowman IV, 48, of Georgetown, passed away suddenly Friday, Jan. 3, 2020.  He was born in Milford Sept. 23, 1971, son of Howard "Bill" W. Bowman III and Karen Tisher.

Bill graduated from Sussex Central High School.  He made his career as a pipefitter and belonged to Local 782, Seaford.  Bill was known for his passion and enthusiasm for cars.  He was a father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Bill was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard W. Bowman Jr.; and his uncle, Robert A. Bowman.  He is survived by his children:  Katlyn, Autumn, Howard V, Jesse and Lucas;  his parents:  Howard "Bill" W. III and Donna Bowman and Karen Tisher;  his siblings:  Ruth Ann Whittam, Kristen Jackson (Brent), Amanda Collins (John), Jonathan Bowman (Veronica), and Zachary Bowman (Courtney);  as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Jan. 10, at 1 p.m.,, at the Gumboro Calvary Wesleyan Church, 36842 Millsboro Highway, Millsboro. Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown.
