Our special thanks to the management and checkers at Acme for returning my claddagh ring to me this week. It errantly fell from my wife’s finger as she was bagging groceries.
Beverly was borrowing my ring because she forgot her wedding ring when we ran out for Ash Wednesday Mass at Saint Jude’s. We searched for two days around our house before she decided to call Acme. The manager said a ring had been turned in!
Kindness in small gestures restores our faith in the community. It made these eyes shine in warmth. Thank you, Acme employees.
