While I have only known Jack for a short period, I am voting for him. My first interactions were in support of local issues: West Fourth Street renaming and support of the net reel rally. However, there are other important issues that he has been involved in over some time, rather than just being active for political reasons. While homelessness and affordable housing are hotbed issues, Jack has approached the problem from another perspective: Solving transportation issues that would benefit workers and tourists coming to Delaware. He is also current on environmental issues, quality of life and clean water for all Delawareans, including underserved communities, which are statewide issues in Delaware. He supports a woman’s right to choose on the national level (Roe v. Wade). On the national stage as well as the state, he supported the infrastructure bill, gun control for assault-style weapons, and criticized the events of Jan. 6, which have divided our country.
Jack is running for the Sixth District Senate seat, which he describes as representing coastal Delaware, an area that has not received Democratic representation for many years. He lives with his wife and family in Milton, and as a grandparent, he is deeply concerned over our country's future direction. He has been involved as a member emeritus of the Milton Lions Club, a member of American Legion Post 17, League of Women Voters, and St. Jude Catholic Church in Lewes.
