Jane Ann Nouhra, devoted pharmacist

Jane Ann Nouhra, 54, of Lewes, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home following a year-long battle with cancer.  She was born Jan. 8, 1968, in Clearfield, Pa., daughter of Duane and Sibbie (Baer) Rowles.

Jane was a graduate of Clearfield High School Class of 1986 and continued her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, graduating in 1991. She married J. Eid Nouhra Aug. 12, 2000, in Clearfield, while working as a pharmacist. The couple relocated to Philadelphia, then State College, Pa., and finally to Lewes to live by the ocean.

Jane enjoyed every day with her children and walks on the beach with her dogs, Percy and Buddy. She loved being outdoors, whether bike riding or snow skiing, was an avid traveler, and a voracious reader. Jane also coordinated several annual vaccine clinics in her neighborhood, administering over 120 doses in a single day.  Above all, Jane cherished time with those she held most dear.  A loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Jane is survived by her beloved husband, J. Eid Nouhra; her children, Eid and Cameron Nouhra, at home; her brothers, Gary L. Rowles (Patty) of Clearfield, Pa., and Mark A. Rowles (Debbie) of Albemarle, N.C.; and her many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately.

Final care has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
