Joan E. McNulty, had medical practice

Joan E. McNulty, 78 of Dagsboro, formerly of Northern New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family Monday, July 16, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
Joan was born in Teaneck, N.J., Oct. 10, 1939, daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Morley) Rogers. She attended Bergen Community College in Paramus, N.J., and received a certification as a medical assistant.
She managed an internal medicine practice in Englewood, N.J., for 20 years. After retiring in 1998, she moved to Delaware with her husband. They jointly general contracted the brick home that they have lived in for the last 20 years.
Joan also managed the Women's Nine Hole Golf at Cripple Creek Golf Club. In 2005, she won the two-day women's nine-hole championship. She participated in water aerobics at Cripple Creek and indoor aerobics supervised by Sue Clarke.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Daniel M. McNulty; four sons and their spouses, Daniel and Kathryn, Thomas and Karen, Timothy and Kim, Michael and Michelle; a sister, Ann Sayce; and eight grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 19, at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 20, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro.
