Johnson Orthodontics presents local teacher with gift card

Johnson Orthodontics congratulates Lauren Norwood from the Southern Delaware School of the Arts as the most recent winner of its ongoing teacher appreciation contest.

Norwood was nominated by student Levi Layfield, who dropped her name into a fishbowl in Johnson’s office at his last appointment.

Dr. Johnathan Johnson created the contest as a way of thanking teachers for their continued patience with students who must miss class to attend orthodontic appointments. A name is drawn every three months during the school year, and the winner receives a $200 gift card to spend on the classroom in whatever way they see fit.
