Kim Klabe art exhibit to continue through encore demo March 24

March 12, 2018

Following Kim Klabe’s successful demonstration of her wine and beer pours at the Peninsula Gallery in February, her exhibit is being extended so she can once again demonstrate her amazing creativity from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 24.

During her first demo, she dripped red wine onto heavyweight paper, let it find its natural shape, and after drying, asked several onlookers what they saw. The different answers were almost as many as those questioned. It is the artistic creativity, combined with imagination, that turns that first shape into a finished piece of art. Using pen and ink, art markers or crayons, Klabe may draw over the basic shape, but sometimes she leaves parts of it untouched. She then adds to the basic shape to come up with the eventual design. It is a process that continually evolves as she works.

The public is invited to come watch this fascinating and unusual creative talent at work. Peninsula Gallery is in the shops at the Beacon Motel at 520 E. Savannah Road in Lewes. For more information, call 302-645-0551.
