KSI welcomes new director of facilities management

KSI recently announced Robert Smith as its new director of facilities management, following the retirement of Shawn Bowman.

Smith comes to KSI with 13 years of experience as facilities manager with Goodwill Industries, where he was responsible for 21 properties throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Smith will manage all maintenance and repair of KSI’s Milford Skill Development Center, Georgetown Southern Campus, and Kamp Lenape buildings and grounds. He also will manage the several properties KSI owns and leases to other businesses. He also will oversee all renovations to KSI properties.

KSI is a not-for-profit agency providing vocational training, employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation, life enrichment and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.
