Letter: BeachWalk proposal should remain a subdivision

April 12, 2019

‘This letter was sent to Rehoboth’s commissioners with a copy to the Cape Gazette.

You made the correct decision when you first reviewed the BeachWalk proposal and declared it a subdivision and not a condominium as they requested.

It has been well documented that as a condominium development it would present safety threats to not only the potential residents of the development, but also the residents of the surrounding area and the traffic on Route 1 and Robinson Drive.  Such a development would also have a negative impact on the natural ecology of the area.

I am asking you to please do the right thing and stand resolutely behind your initial decision that such a development be required to meet the standards of a subdivision.
