Lewes in Bloom offered a program July 31 at its children's garden devoted to the ladybug, Delaware's official insect. Youngsters learned facts about ladybugs from volunteer and naturalist Liz White, made ladybug crafts and even had a ladybug snack. The highlight of the program was the release of more than 1,500 ladybugs in the garden.
