Lewes Christmas Parade ushers in the season

The entire Lewes Christmas Parade route was party central as thousands turned out on a mild Dec. 3 night to watch the annual event’s 130 entries.

Riding in the lead cars as honorary grand marshals representing the Cape Henlopen School District were Superintendent Bob Fulton, board of education President Andy Lewis, Sussex Consortium Principal Vivian Bush, Shields Elementary School Principal Jennifer Nauman, Senior Class President Erik Stancofski, Student Government President Shea Sugrue and student Kathryn Wyshock. Cape principals, teachers of the year and students also rode in the Cape May-Lewes Ferry trolley.
