The Chandler and Levin families found one of the only sledding hills in the City of Lewes to have some fun.
“Sledding in Lewes. I thought there would be more traffic than this,” said Bruce Chandler.
They were out at Canalfront Park Feb. 24, a day after the big blizzard blew through town.
While they were heading downhill, things were looking up for crews cleaning up.
Plows, shovels and snowblowers were taking care of what was left of covered sidewalks. The sun was helping melt the rest.
Downed trees branches were scattered around town, including several in the Fourth Street Preserve. But, none were observed blocking any streets.
The city said waste and recycling will be collected on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
