Local author launches new book in Nicholas Foxe adventure series
Local author Jackson Coppley has released the latest installment in his fast-paced thriller series, “Nicholas Foxe and the Lost Code of Montezuma.” The novel blends ancient mystery, modern technology and high-stakes suspense in a race against the clock.
Set at the turn of the millennium, the novel follows cryptographer Nicholas Foxe and his brilliant wife, Nina, as they uncover a hidden Aztec code tied to a Y2K conspiracy that threatens to crash the world’s GPS systems. From the red rocks of Sedona to top-secret government installations, the story weaves real history with heart-pounding action and intellectual intrigue.
“I wanted to capture the tension of the year 1999 — the fear of Y2K, the dawn of global tech and the secrets history still holds,” said Coppley, who lives part of the year in Rehoboth Beach. “Nick and Nina make a great team — smart, fearless and just a little in over their heads.”
“The Lost Code of Montezuma” is the third novel in the “Lost” series of Nicholas Foxe adventures, following the successful releases of “The Lost Diamonds of Brazil” and “The Lost Gold of Pompeii.” Fans of Dan Brown, Clive Cussler and Steve Berry will feel right at home.
