Marasco is a determined problem solver

April 5, 2024

On Saturday, May 11, Lewes residents will have the opportunity to elect a remarkably qualified candidate to city council – Amy Marasco. Amy has already been sharing her expertise with Lewes by serving on the planning commission and chairing its environmental subcommittee. She is an advisory board member of the Historic Lewes Farmers Market as well as being an author ambassador during the Lewes History Book Festival.

Prior to becoming a full-time Lewes resident, Amy served seven terms on the town council of Hillsboro, Va. As Hillsboro’s vice mayor, Amy focused on a $34 million infrastructure project encompassing transportation, pedestrian safety, drinking water, stormwater, wastewater and broadband.

Amy’s business experience is outstanding. She is a recipient of Delaware Today’s Top Women in Business honor as well as being co-founder and CEO of a $50 million, 350-person IT, environmental and management firm.

Amy is a great listener and a determined problem solver. Her impressive professional background solving complex environmental challenges would contribute greatly to solving many of the issues before council. She brings the experience, gravitas and commitment needed on Lewes City Council. She has already shown herself to be a dutiful and effective citizen of Lewes. Now we will have the opportunity to put her remarkable skills to use on Lewes City Council.

Vote for Amy Marasco May 11.
