The 41st annual Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Camp recently held two weeklong sessions at Cape Henlopen State Park. More than 130 players, from beginners to advanced, in fourth through 12th grades participated in each session. Graduating seniors and college players participated in the Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Junior Counselor program. The Mid-Atlantic staff also held an umpire academy in the July 22-26 session. This umpire camp is for beginners of all ages. Those who have five years of experience or less focus on umpiring skills for high school rules.
The Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Camp provides a safe and fun atmosphere to develop skills, knowledge and love of the game.
