I am writing this letter in support of Nikki Miller for 20th Representative District. I have never done something like this before, but I just feel that strongly about this candidate.
I met Miller over eight years ago when I interviewed for a job. Without knowing her position, I immediately understood who the true leader in the room was. This realization was continued throughout her job as principal of Cape Henlopen High School.
As a leader in the school, Miller epitomized the most positive aspects: transparency, calm temperament, diligence, organization, and last but not least, putting students first.
As a member of her dissertation committee, I watched Miller while she recognized a need in the district, created a plan and implemented said plan with outstanding success.
Miller puts her heart, soul and time into this community. She will not back down when confronted with divisiveness, but will be able to work with both sides of the aisle, coming to a consensus for the common good. I'm not even registered as a Republican, and would still vote for her, but it's not about the politics. It's about who is the best person for the community and I can, wholeheartedly, state that Nikki Miller is the candidate to vote for in the upcoming election for 20th Representative District.
