Milton Arts Guild Spring Fling to open March 18
Milton Arts Guild will host one of its favorite events of the year – the Spring Fling Market – to celebrate the warmer weather and to highlight a wide variety of fine arts and crafts.
This year, the annual market will be held during two weeks, opening Wednesday, March 18 and running through Sunday, March 22, featuring art from 15 MAG members. The second week, from Wednesday, March 25, through Sunday, March 29, will feature another 15 artists. Hours for the event are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, at the Milton Arts Guild Gallery, 107 Federal St., Milton.
Two fun Spring Fling special attractions have been added. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, anyone who fills out a free raffle entry form will be eligible to win a door prize, and both Fridays will feature Sip and Shop happy hours from 4 to 6 p.m. with live music and refreshments.
“After this winter, we are all ready for some spring in our steps!” said Lynda Rae Gannon, Milton Arts Guild president. “This year’s market has not only expanded in artists’ offerings, but has new features that will allow us to usher in spring in style.”
