The Milton Garden Club announced its 2026 garden tour will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 27.
The self-guided tour will highlight six private gardens and one public community garden where residents grow vegetables. The private gardens are diverse in size and in types of plants grown.
Club President Ingrid Bogen, garden tour co-chair, said, ”The Milton Garden Club welcomes guests to our 25th Annual Garden Tour. There will be a variety of gardens including acres of registered daylilies, blooming shrubs, Japanese maples, arborvitae, butterfly bushes, azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias, pollinator gardens, vegetable gardens, a tropical garden with palm trees, wildflowers, a meadow garden and many native plants for bees, butterflies and birds. Also featured are two new gardens showing what can be done in small spaces. For even more ideas, check out the community vegetable garden.”
Some gardeners will be on hand to answer questions. Artists and vendors will be selling their wares and creations.
“With all our new developments in the Milton area, we are featuring small-space garden ideas for the many new residents to get ideas and inspiration. We also have a couple of glorious large gardens, but it’s definitely not a walking tour this year,” said Julie Smith, club vice president and tour co-chair.
