Milton Memorial Park was the scene June 1 for 155 young anglers to participate in the fifth annual Andy and Opie Fishing Tournament.
Started by Lewes-based computer company Techno Goober, the tournament is a way to bring parents and children to spend time together outside. The banks of the Broadkill River were surrounded by portable folding chairs and kids with fishing poles in their hands.
The competition was broken down into boys and girls divisions with age groups ranging from 7 and under to 8 to 12 and 13 to 17. Of those who took place, 88 were boys and 67 were girls.
