Milton lights up the Christmas tree

Milton residents braved a chilly night Nov. 27 to bring in the holiday season with the town’s annual tree-lighting ceremony in Milton Memorial Park.
Mayor Ted Kanakos gave the signal for the tree to be lit at 6 p.m., as a crowd of around 100 people looked on. Prior to that, entertainment was provided by the duo of Al Frantic on guitar and 11-year-old Cooper Fenton on the electronic drum kit. The event was MC’d by Frantic Frets co-owner Mary Knight.
Entertainment at the event was provided by the duo of Al Frantic on guitar and Cooper Fenton on drums. The group, shown with MC Mary Knight, played a mix of Christmas songs and rock oldies at the Charlie Fleetwood Gazebo.
