Milton Main Street small biz grant applications due Feb. 15

January 15, 2026

Milton Main Street is accepting grant applications from local small companies for business-improving projects.

Board President Gloria Garcia said, “The grants, which will range from $500 to $2,000, can be used to purchase equipment or furnishings, to take on façade or streetscape improvements, or to plan and/or implement marketing plans – anything, really, that will give their businesses a boost or will enhance the public’s experience.”

Any small business in downtown Milton is eligible to apply for funds. These include businesses located within the town limits on Route 16; and businesses on Mulberry, Union, Federal, Chestnut and Lavinia streets. While a business applicant can be a franchisee, it cannot have more than two outlets.

A total of $10,000 in grants will be awarded. The deadline to apply is Sunday, Feb. 15.

Grants are made possible thanks to funding from The Granary at Draper Farm, a multi-phase, mixed-use community currently under development in Milton.

“The Granary is proud to partner with the Town of Milton and Milton Main Street to help encourage small business growth,” said Mariah Underhill, vice president of development for The Granary. “Milton’s success matters to us, and these grants are one way we can support the entrepreneurs who make the town such a vibrant and welcoming place to live, work and visit.”
