National design award goes to Becker Morgan Group

Becker Morgan Group’s custom residential project, Cape Cod Nod, recently received a Silver Award for Best One-of-a-Kind Custom Home (4,001–5,000 sq. ft.) at the National Association of Home Builders’ 2025 Best in American Living  Awards.

Designed by Christopher L. Pattey, senior associate and practice area leader of the firm’s single-family residential studio, the home reflects thoughtful planning, a strong design vision and a collaborative process that brought this Bethany Beach oceanfront residence to life.

The project blends the charm of traditional Cape Cod architecture with innovative design elements, creating a home that feels both timeless and contemporary. Inspired by New England shingle-style traditions and tailored to the homeowners’ lifestyle, the design reflects Becker Morgan Group’s distinctive approach to custom residential architecture. The result is a residence that fits seamlessly into its coastal surroundings while offering modern comfort, functionality and refined detail.
