New Life Thrift shop to reopen May 27 following parking lot repair

As its parking lot undergoes a resurfacing project, New Life Thrift Shop will be closing temporarily, starting Monday, May 19.

No donations will be accepted until the shop reopens, fully stocked, at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, at 34686 Jiffy Way, Lewes, between Jiffy Lube and Bethany Blues.

New Life Thrift Shop sells donated goods at reasonable prices to support the core ministries of its parent organization, the Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations.

Proceeds go to support Community Resource Center, What Is Your Voice, Lighthouse for Broken Wings, Family Promise, Springboard Delaware, West Side New Beginnings, Milton Community Food Pantry, Harry K Foundation baby pantry, La Esperanza, Cape Henlopen Food Basket, Redemption City, Rehoboth and Lewes Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Rehoboth and Lewes volunteer fire companies, and other groups.
