Sussex County Council meeting Dec. 6

Sussex County Council will meet at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, in the county administration building, 2 The Circle, Georgetown.  Included on the agenda is presentation of a long-range planning study conducted with the Lewes Board of Public Works.

Lewes reschedules public hearings

The City of Lewes has canceled and rescheduled three public hearings initially scheduled for Dec. 5.

The public hearings regarding the ordinance on through lots, the site plan of the First Baptist Church of Lewes, and annexation zones have been moved to Tuesday, Dec. 13. For details, go to lewes.civicweb.net.

Rehoboth workshop slated for Dec. 5

Rehoboth Beach commissioners will hold a workshop meeting at 9 a.m., Monday, Dec. 5, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. 

The agenda calls for continued discussion of outdoor dining on public space, continued discussion on moving buildings, and discussion on city code related to awnings, canopies and marquees.

Photos sought for new Dewey Town Hall

Dewey Beach Mayor Bill Stevens is seeking historic photos of Dewey Beach for possible use in the new town hall currently being developed. Anyone with such photos is asked to contact Stevens at wstevens@townofdeweybeach.com.
