Patricia 'Pat' Johnson, successful businesswoman
Patricia "Pat" A. Johnson, 83, of Lewes, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a battle with cancer Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
She was born Jan. 19, 1932, in West Chester, Pa., daughter of the late William L. and Erma (Fulton) Zebley.
Mrs. Johnson received her associates degree in secretarial studies and went on to become an owner and operator of PAJ Enterprises. She married Wesley M. Johnson Dec. 6, 1951, in Pennsylvania, and together they were very successful business owners in the auto industry who enjoyed traveling around the world. Mrs. Johnson was an exceptional cook, and loved knitting hats for Beebe Tunnell Cancer Center's chemotherapy patients.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley M. Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Johnson of Millsboro; a sister, Elaine Chambers of West Chester; and two granddaughters, Adrianna Wright and Aaliyah Dubbs both of Millsboro.
