VIA presents Mildred Gray Scholarship to Charmaine Ferebee

The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth, a member of General Federation of Women's Clubs, sponsors the Mildred Gray Scholarship for students attending the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. The student must be a Sussex County resident, nontraditional student and have at least a B average in the nursing courses. 

This year’s VIA scholarship recipient is Charmaine Ferebee, a first-year student who lives in Frankford.

VIA President Rose Marie Patin said, "The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth is pleased and proud to support and encourage the nursing students at the School of Nursing. The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare offers an outstanding program that is needed in our service area."

Mildred Gray, a past president of VIA, donated personal money to help students continue their nursing education.
