It takes a library to build a community, and it takes friends to lend a helping hand. Milton Public Library, located in the heart of downtown Milton, offers interesting materials to read, listen to or view, along with engaging educational and cultural programs for the public.
The Friends of the Milton Public Library raises funds to help support the programs the talented library staff offers for children, teens and adults, including yoga, magicians, speakers, craft-making, a summer reading program and much more.
The group sells donated audiobooks, paperbacks, hardcovers, videos and new merchandise that celebrates Milton’s small-town charm. New members are welcome to lend their time and talents, share new ideas to increase revenue, help expand the gift shop operating hours, and contribute to planning the library’s upcoming 150th anniversary celebration.
