Volunteers and relay teams needed for race to benefit kids with cancer

To benefit kids with cancer
June 27, 2019

A two-day, 200-mile team relay race to benefit the Nemours Fund for Children’s Health and A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children will take place Friday and Saturday, April 17-18, across the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

A team adventure relay race with a breathtaking purpose, the Delmarva Dash will bring together runners and volunteers, sharing their time, their thoughts and themselves while racing down the Delmarva Peninsula on a spring weekend, all dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support kids with cancer. The relay will begin at Nemours in Wilmington and will end at the Indian River Inlet with a celebration at the Big Chill Beach Club.

Team registration is now open and teams from across the United States are forming to support the cause.

For more information about team registration, racecourse, volunteering and being a race partner, go to www.delmarvadashrelay.org.

Delmarva Dash Foundation is a nonprofit charity organization, and 100 percent of the funds raised at this event will go to help make a difference in the lives of children who are fighting cancer.
