On behalf of Rehoboth Concert Band, I would like to thank all who attended our recent benefit concert, With a Spring in Our Step, for their enthusiastic support of our band and of Cape Henlopen Senior Center. We were delighted to introduce our new music director, Steven Kieley, to the music lovers of our community. As Steve said in his closing remarks, it is fitting to begin this new chapter in the life of Rehoboth Concert Band in the spring – the time of year brimming with new beginnings.
We appreciate the Cape Gazette's help in spreading the word about the concert. We are also indebted to Cape Henlopen Senior Center, our rehearsal home, for its kind and generous support year round. Without the backing of the public or the senior center, we would not be able to fulfill our mission of providing area instrumentalists opportunities to make beautiful music while enriching community life.
