Rehoboth Beach junior sailor Alden Durrell, representing Proteus Yacht Club and Annapolis Yacht Club, competed in his first major regatta at the Marblehead Junior Race Week in Massachusetts July 19-21.
Durrell finished eighth out of 34 participants in the Opti Green category and eighth of 16 racers in the Yellow division.
Alden has been sailing out of Lewes since April 2020.
