Republicans for Sussex host candidates and legislators dinner

Republicans for Sussex held its second beef and dumpling dinner Oct. 14 at the VFW in Delmar.

Nearly 180 attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner and spent time talking with their western Sussex legislators and candidates. The dessert table was filled with a variety of homemade cakes, and Vanderwendes provided complimentary ice cream. The meal was served throughout the afternoon, and takeout was also available. “What a great way to have Sunday dinner, coming when you can and staying as long as you’d like,” said Ron Sams, RFS chair. Attendees also had fun participating in drawings to win either one of four specially designed cakes and/or a $100 bill.

Campaign materials were available, and legislators and candidates mixed informally with the crowd.

Republicans for Sussex is a PAC comprising the presidents and other leaders of the Republican clubs in Sussex County. Its mission is to coordinate efforts to connect with friends and neighbors in broadening awareness of those Republican elected officials and candidates who will sincerely and honestly work for the future well-being of area communities.
