The Rehoboth Beach Bears will co-host a Ride with Pride event Sunday, May 18, with William Gestole, Mr. Rehoboth Leather 2024.
This fundraising ride will begin and end at Aqua Bar & Grill, with participants asked to arrive at 11:45 a.m., for a start time of noon. The exact course, which will be between 2 and 2 1/2 hours, has yet to be finalized but will be handed out and reviewed before participants line up. There will be two planned stops along the run. Parking for motorcycles will be available at the restaurant.
Following the ride, participants will gather at Aqua Bar & Grill for food and beverages, and riders will receive 25 percent off their bill.
This motorcycle ride is a fundraiser to support the Rehoboth Beach Bears charity, and to build camaraderie and a social network of motorcycle enthusiasts. The Rehoboth Beach Bears are a nonprofit organization and donate to several local charities including CAMP Rehoboth, Humane Animal Partners of Rehoboth and the Epworth Food Rescue. The organization also has a scholarship fund for Sussex County graduating seniors to further their education at trade schools or colleges.
Each rider is asked to make a $40 donation to participate, with an additional $20 for those with a passenger.
